My favorites from the first season since I'm having trouble deciding which one I like best:
Showdown in Pewter City (Ash finds out the hard way that gym battles aren't easy)
Charmander, the Stray Pokemon (Glad he got away from that awful trainer)
March of the Exeggutor Squad (Charmander evolves!)

Frozen on Their Tracks, because it introduced my second favourite character, Looker, and Why Not Give Me a Z-Ring Sometime?, because it introduced my favourite character, Nanu.
