I have watched a lot of tape from that period and probably some of the absolute worst wrestling I have ever seen was the WWWF of the 70’s. They were horrible. But the fans were conditioned to accept it because that is the wrestling they got. And it wasn’t because it was a sign of the times and because wrestling didn’t have as much action back then because I have seen plenty of 70’s footage from other territories and it wasn’t remotely as bad. |

Dark Side of the Ring did a documentary about him a couple of weeks ago. Oh that is cool. I haven't watched any of those shows but I should It comes on every Tuesday night on Vice.
