A week after that backstage altercation with Jack Perry at the All In PPV in London and after an complete investigation after the event, CM Punk fired from AEW by Tony Khan. The announcement of Punk's firing surfaced on wrestling news sites and on YouTube videos yesterday. To start the last AEW Collision show before Sunday's All Out, Khan began the show reminded the fans in attendance and viewers of CM Punk termination.
As a wrestling follower, and in the 2 years CM Punk been in AEW, CM Punk has been causing a lot of problems in these 2 years he was part of the AEW roster. Such as blocking those associated with AEW from having backstage access, and sending people home, including Ryan Nemeth. When AEW Collision made its on-camera debut 2 months ago, that show want this to be all about CM Punk, and no one else. It really took a lot of brass and balls to step in and tell CM Punk that he's no longer on the AEW roster for the problems and toxicity he has caused in AEW. Now that CM Punk is gome from the company, the length of Jack Perry's suspension might be short-lived or maybe for a few more weeks.
