For me, the holiday season encompasses Thanksgiving and Christmas. We don't do anything for Halloween, now that the kids are grown. I do, however, keep a bowl full of candy corn throughout October.
I start decorating for Christmas around Thanksgiving, and I don't put it away until after New Year's.

I myself celebrate Halloween, thanksgiving, and Christmas. Other holidays like 4th of July and Valentine's Day are too sad and depressing for me.

We don't celebrate holidays. For Christmas, I put up ornaments & figurines I've had for many years. I just exchange them with my whales & dolphins (go figure huh lol) figurines for a couple of months. For Thanksgiving & Christmas we just gift "time" with loved ones.  |

ZandraJoi That is so cool Where did you get the whale and dolphin figurines from? A few I've had since I was a teen. One is a small humpback whale I got when I visited a penpal in TN. Then my husband bought me the rest. Oh, a few we got from his aunt who was downsizing & had a bunch of figurines. She knew I liked marine life so just gave them to me. That was very special

We don't do as much as we used to. Just the immediate family now.
Halloween we don't do anything anymore. If I happen to work that day I usually dress up. For Thanksgiving just the typical nice thanksgiving dinner. Christmas Eve we usually have pizza and exchange family gifts. On Christmas Day we get ones from Santa and have a nice breakfast and a quick dinner. Easter, we just get our baskets and have a nice breakfast and dinner.
