There's a friend of mine who doesn't have the calmness to drive himself. He usually have anxiety whenever he enters the driver's seat. This made him to have a personal driver on standby.
Do you like driving yourself?

I can't drive due to illness. Love riding shotgun anyway.

Yes, I love driving myself because I can drive very well. I have had my driver's license since 2003. I've been driving since.

Yes. Driving myself to places gives me independence.

I don't mind driving. I have a newish car with a great entertainment system, so I paired my phone apps to the car and listen to music that way.

I haven’t driven since my husband retired nearly 20 years ago. I will have to start driving again soon, since my husband needs to stop driving for health reasons. I’m nervous since it’s been so long since I’ve driven.

I know how to drive but I prefer to be the passenger. I liked driving more when I was younger but as I got older, it's more cumbersome than anything.

Ten years ago, when I used to drive, yes, I found it relaxing (in the Midwest). However, after living in Boston now for three years, I've decided that I don't need to drive anymore. First, my vision isn't very good -- I have a lazy eye and significant loss of my peripheral vision. Second, the way people drive around here are impatient. Third, We have Rotaries out here. These these scare me. They are death traps, and I get anxiety being in one just while I'm riding on the bus. Fourth, I like not having to be "on call" for work. ("Can you come in at 5 am to open on Tuesday this week?") Sorry, I can't get here that soon. Fifth, I find using Public Transit less stressful. Sixth, It's WAY cheaper than having to operate a car. $90/month, gets me unlimited rides on the bus AND the subway.
