Technological advancements have been a smooth experience for majority that now find better means to handle the things that they wouldn't have handle easily in the past. Some are saying that some big changes in technology has made people lazy as they won't bother doing the things they ought to do. Do you agree with such mindset?

Technology has made certain tasks more convenient and automated, potentially leading to a more sedentary lifestyle. However, it has also opened up opportunities for productivity and efficiency. Ultimately, it is up to individuals to determine how they use technology and whether it makes them lazy or proactive. If using technology is saving time for them, they must use that saved time to do something productive without wasting it.

I'd say in general, yes. That's why I make it a point to do certain things manually.

Yes and no. It depends on the technology and the person. For example, I heard a teacher (when I was still in school) say that spellcheck allowed kids to never learn how to spell properly, but for me, it helped me spell properly because it let me know when I got the spelling of a word wrong. Before I had spellcheck, I would make loads of mistakes in my writing without realizing.
That said, I dislike social media and believe the world would be much better without it. Let's go back to forums and personal websites already!

I have to agree with Melcharge. Let's get rid of Social Media and go back to forums and personal websites! However, I do think that while technology can make people more lazy -- Why should I type something when I can copy and paste it? But also at the same time, I believe that for every second you save doing something mundane or manual, you can spend that second doing or learning something else. Laziness is only true if the time is WASTED. If all you're doing is laying around in bed all day and night, that's lazy, but if you're doing something that's worthwhile, that benefits others, that's not being lazy, whether you're using technology or not.

I do think it has made us lazy. We are also dumbed down. We don't know the basics. Plus look at people when they have a power outage & how crazy they can become not knowing how to occupy their time!
