Do you have any stories of crazy reasons coworkers at your job were let go? Did you agree or disagree?
Did you miss them when they were gone?
Give us the details!

One person that I was friends with at one of my old jobs got fired just because a co-worker who the boss thought highly of didn't like her. Of course this was the same job that I was let go from about 6 months later, even though my direct boss seemed to enjoy having me work there.
I'd say there was definitely a motivation to just have their friends, or people they thought highly of work there.

One place I worked, there was a gal who was stealing money from the company. She was let go. Goodbye.

Doesn't sound "too" crazy, but one time I had a co-worker fired because my manager said she couldn't mingle with everyone when she was just one of the most extroverted and friendliest people I have ever met in my life. All of us think that it was just because my manager didn't like her personality (so it was personal)

There was this one lady who was a social butterfly and was everywhere but at her desk. Her manager told her they were going to put seat belts on her chair! She quit.

I wonder why this kind of person is not really "liked" in a job environment? Is it because this kind of person just talks to people the whole time and not doing their work? And this girl in my work was just in for about 4-5 months before she was fired. I thought extroverted people would be more liked and I have always been a little insecure about that (I'm introverted)
