Great! I'm sure you know George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher was the original vocalist of Monstrosity and has been in Cannibal Corpse for years now. I saw Coroner in concert and got them to autograph my R. I. P. cd

Played the first P. Morte to death, their other, along with The Otiloth, I haven't played yet because I've got enough cds to last me for a few years, as I just play them one at a time before moving onto the next one Because with cds, unless you get them from best-selling artists, most of the time they're going to be limited edition. So I get them before they're gone.

As it sounds like you do indeed like a variety, I'm guessing you'd like them both. Just check them out when you can and let me know what you think!

Suffocation's killer, I had some song of theirs on a tape that I recorded off the radio years ago but I don't remember which one it was. All my tapes, before I could convert them to digital files, were left behind and lost when I moved a few years ago I'm keeping an eye on their debut cd on the Relapse Alumni Bandcamp page and will order it before it goes out of print, along with an Amorphis album as well.

I'm just listening to the "Spheres" instrumental but the rest of the cd I played to death months ago and I'm done with it. The current champion is Forlorn Kingdom, a dungeon synth artist. Crazy that I've got two cds in a row I've played that long each!

That is so awesome that you saw Coronor live!   They are great.  I never saw them though.  And and autograph CD!  Oh yeah cannibal corpse I saw them in '90 but I prefer him over Chris Barnes.  I like corpsegrinder better.  I look forward to checking out these videos.  Sorry for the delayed response.  I love talking music with fellow rock and metal fans.  I have not listened to a ton of Amorphis but I have a few tracks from them.  Love suffocation!   I forget if I posted this before but they are from my area so I saw them a bunch before they got signed.  Unbeliavle band!   Other than that I have been getting a bunch of new thrash.  I will post what I have gotten here soon.  Thanks!

I'm not sure if I can get into my Photobucket account without paying to get a picture of the autographed cd but I need to check on it anyway since I got an e-mail several days ago saying my account could be deleted (yeah I know, they've been saying that for a few years, but this is a new one since I hadn't checked into it for a while).  If I run across the fireproof case where I keep it I'll definitely take a picture of it and post it here but it's in a box somewhere.  But yeah, the club was so small that they played at when I saw them I just climbed up, went backstage and me and a friend of mine got their autographs

Same here although I haven't heard a lot of post-Corpsegrinder stuff.

I got their first three albums, plus what was the aborted split of Disment of Soul or something like that.  I'll get their fourth album at some point but other than that I've listened to a lot of their more modern albums and haven't liked any of them enough to want to get.  Too sterile- and perfect-sounding for my tastes and they're not as good as their first two albums.

That's great you got to see them so much when they were new.  I haven't heard much from them but they're pretty killer indeed.  (I also need to look up a Bandcamp story that they did on them months ago that I meant to read but didn't.)

And back to the original post matter, the last entertainment I got was Star Trek Beyond, which is odd that I'm keeping it, since I saw the first Abrams Star Trek and liked it but not enough to keep it. I found Into Darkness on dvd in the last year (never saw any of these movies in the theatre), also liked it but tossed it into my pile of stuff to hopefully sell off at a garage sale. Too much cgi at times, especially with one of the last scenes with Spock in it. This one I thought I'd also toss but it ended up growing on me, for some reason.
