The lion king was the first movie I ever saw in the cinema. We sat in the front row. The stampede scene was intense.

I remember seeing it in theaters as well. The stampede and the scene with Rafiki and Simba at the lake were incredible to watch.

This was like my childhood. I was obsessed with it forever.
I remember going to the drive in to see it. Burger King had the toys there then, so my mom got me a kids meal and we went to see it with me knowing nothing. I squealed as soon as the movie started playing.

I remember The Lion King was the very first movie I saw in the cinema. It was me, my mum and my two brothers who went to see the movie and I absolutely loved the movie. Of course, when Simba's father died I did cry but who hadn't cried at that scene? It was such a sad scene. Even now that I am older it's a great movie to keep going back to.

I don't know about the old versions of the movie but the movie I watched was made in 2019 and I really liked it.

I don't know about the old versions of the movie but the movie I watched was made in 2019 and I really liked it. Was that the live-action one? I've only seen the animated one from the 2000s. I think that's when it was, anyway. Let me pull up my trusty imdb app... whoa! It's from 1994!

Yep, the first animated Lion King movie was in 1994. They made a second animated movie in 1998, and a third one in 2004 that covers events during the first movie from a different point of view.

They did a Maori version for New Zealand audiences. I haven't seen it yet as I cannot speak Maori but from what I've heard it's pretty cool. Sir Elton John even allowed his music to be translated into Maori which he has never allowed for any other language for the film. My favorite character in The Lion King is Scar! I love the song "Be Prepared"!
